This month's challenge at Memory Box's Outside the Box September Challenge is "Falling for Fall."
I don't have a lot of fall dies, so this was a challenge! (And I've been doing The Daily Marker 30 Day coloring challenge on Instragram, primarily focusing on holiday coloring, so this was a bit of a break!). So, I looked through the stash and found some fun dies that I thought would work together for Halloween.
I basically inked up a watercolor panel with the distress inks, spritzed, dried, and then die cut with the star die. Cut and adhered the black graveyard border, and then cut the MB tree frame out of kraft, and glued it all together. Trimmed the edges flush, heat embossed the sentiment. Adhered the die cut ghosts with dimensional adhesive - voila!
Materials:
Paper: Watercolor paper, kraft, Neenah - solar white
Stamps/Inks: Lawn Fawn - Heebie Jeebies, Versamark, TH Distress Ink - Dusty Concord, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey, and Black Soot
Dies: Memory Box - Orchard Tree Frame Die and Graveyard Landscape Die, SSS - Falling Stars, and Avery Elle - Cityscape dies
Embossing: Ranger superfine opaque embossing powder
Misc.: White gel pen, dimensional adhesive, black copic multiliner, and sparkle sheer shimmer spritz
Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Card Tutorials 2015 - Week 14 - White Space
I made two cards this week, because the first didn't turn out quite right. I masked with rubber cement, watercolored the background, and got impatient. I think that trying to dry the watercoloring affected the rubber cement, so the poinsettia, which was intended to be white, had a whitish green look to it... so I just colored it. I'm still including it, because I'm happy with how it turned out (after a little copic coloring).
Here they are:
Materials:
Paper: TH watercolor paper, misc. Bazzill cardstock, vellum
Stamps/Inks: HA Shadow Inks - Field Greens, Memory Box - Blooming Poinsettia, Wplus9- Fair Isle Backgrounds, Hero Arts - CL359 Holiday Cheer, Versafine - Onyx Black ink
Cutting/Embossing - Ranger superfine clear embossing powder
Misc: Gansai watercolors, zig wink of stella clear glitter pen

Mystery KAL and the finale of the big project...
I'm trying something totally new for me, and I'm pretty excited about it!
Here's the information from Michelle Hunter's blog:
How does the Knit Along (KAL) work?
Here's the start for Ridgely...
1. Beautiful yarn... I can't believe how soft and lovely this yarn is...
2. Week 1:
Gauge close enough on 6's. I was grateful for the video on lifelines - I only needed to use one once, but that's all it really takes for a BIG goof up on a lace projects. And this is a little bit of a slippery yarn.
Photos below:
Looking forward to the next section of the pattern being released tomorrow!
And the finale for my big project! Class at Yarn Harbor was helpful.
Will be moving the buttons around a bit so everything is even on both sides.
Sirdal
Size - 1 year
Needles - 0 and 1 1/2
And the tags for the Mission Conference baskets...
Materials:
Paper: PTI - kraft, misc. Bazzill cardstock, Neenah - Solar white
Stamps/Inks: Versafine - Onyx Black, TH Distress Ink - Antique Linen, Verve Stamps - Wonderfully Made
Cutting/Embossing: Memory Box tag die, Poppy Stamps - Vegetable border, Ranger superfine clear embossing powder, Spellbinder's Nestabilities - Standard and Scalloped Circles
Misc.: Liquid Pearls - Peacock, dimensional adhesive, May Arts twine, button, ribbon

10 Minute Craft Dash
Here's the next 10 Minute Craft Dash....
Here's mine:
I have had Christmas cards/tags on the brain, so I really, really wanted to try to make some tags for this challenge. I technically only completed one tag during the time listed below, but I had stamped, cut, and embossed all the gingerbread men and also stamped all the backgrounds and cut all the tags -- it didn't take more than a minute or two after I finished the first one to complete all three, so I thought I'd include all three tags in the photo.
Time: 9:44
Materials:
Paper: Misc. Bazzill cardstock, kraft, Neenah - Solar white
Stamps/Inks: Memento - Paris Dusk, Versamark, Stamp&Cut Hero Arts Cookies, Fresh Squeezed Stamps - Subway Series: Holidays
Cutting/Embossing: Stamp&Cut Hero Arts cookies, Memory Box - Distressed Tag die, Zing Embossing Powder - White
Misc.: Ribbon from Michael's, Liquid Pearls - Ruby Red
How to Play
1) Create a card/craft project within 10 minutes using the color palette above
2) Post the time it took to create
You can pull out your supplies before your timer starts!

CAS-ual Fridays and a Lot of Knitting!
Here's this week's challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays... my favorite, a sketch!
Here's my take on it:
Materials:
Paper: Misc. Bazzill cardstock, kraft, watercolor paper
Stamps/Inks: Memory Box - Reverse Bird Branches, Hero Arts - Art of the Card - Untitled Love, Hero Arts Shadow Midtones - Pool, Tim Holtz Distress Markers
Misc.: Dimensional adhesive, jewel embellishments
And, although I've been quiet on the card front recently, I've been doing quite a bit of knitting.
Here are the socks on two circular needles that I recently finished for a class...
Pattern: Beginner's Mid-Weight Socks #242
Needles: size 3 (two circulars)
Yarn: Cascade Yarns Heritage - Sock
Size: Me
I have to say, once I figured out how the two needles thing worked, this was a much better way to do socks. Obviously, it won't work for every sock pattern, but I'm considering casting on for a second pair right away. It's refreshing to be done with both socks at the same time --- and they're the same size! And although this is a pretty plain pattern, it helps that this yarn is really, really nice.
And here are yet another puerperium and hat set (modified for short sleeves)...
Yarn: Sirdar Snuggly Bamboo
Needles: Size 6
