Christmas Card Tutorials - Week 17 - Square Cards

This week's card tutorial was a fun one - building a scene on a square card.

Here's mine:




I didn't feel like getting out the light tent today, so you'll have to excuse the background. Maybe when it's not so hot, I'll retake it :).

Materials:
Paper: Misc. Bazzill cardstock, American Crafts - Peppermint Express, Neenah - Solar white
Stamps/Inks: Versafine- Onyx Black, Memento- Tuxedo Black, Stampendous - Reindears and Merry Kissmas, SSS - Oh Christmas Tree, SSS - Grass Green and Hero Arts Shadow Ink - Green Hills, Red Royal, and Butter Bar

Christmas Card Tutorials 2015 - Watercolor

This week's card was a lot of fun. I have really enjoyed playing with my new clean color waterbrushes - even more excited to take a class to learn how to use them in a couple of weeks...

Christmas Card Tutorials 2015 - Week 14 - White Space

I made two cards this week, because the first didn't turn out quite right. I masked with rubber cement, watercolored the background, and got impatient. I think that trying to dry the watercoloring affected the rubber cement, so the poinsettia, which was intended to be white, had a whitish green look to it... so I just colored it. I'm still including it, because I'm happy with how it turned out (after a little copic coloring).
