Baby Projects...

A finished project:

Materials
Dies: HA and Clear and Simple Stamps elephant dies, Lawn Cuts - Star dies

And a knitted gift for a friend...

(It does look strangely familiar, because it's almost an exact duplicate of another puerperium that I've knitted - love that variegated encore, though!)

Scrapfest 2013

It's been quiet over here, but things should be picking up. The bathroom remodel is almost officially finished, and access to the light tent has been restored. These two weeks, in particular, were and are busy - trips for fun and for business.

Fun from this past weekend - Scrapfest 2013 - at the Mall of America in the TC.

Hero Arts 90 Minute Scramble

It's been quiet over here... would you like to see why?

This is our mess of a bathroom (in progress)...

Anyway, back to more fun things, here's my contribution for the Hero Arts Flickr Group's 90 minute Scramble.

The theme for today's scramble: A simple challenge to incorporate washi or decorative tape in your card/project design. Use it simply or creatively. Let your imagination fly…..
If for any reason you do not have any washi tape in your possession, use a border stamp/use faux washi stamps/make your own.

Materials
Paper: Neenah - Solar white, misc. Bazzill cardstock, kraft
Stamps/Inks: Versamark, Memento - Tuxedo Black, Paper Smooches - Joyful Greetings, Hero Arts - Shari's Tree No. Three
Cutting/Embossing: Spellbinder's Nestabilities - Standard Circles, Judikins Opaque white embossing powder
Misc.: Washi Tape, dimensional adhesive, copic markers, Zig Wink of Stella clear glitter brush
