It's winding down, but here's Day 5: His and Hers Holiday Cards
Here are mine:
I think it's truly difficult to have a "masculine" card, so I'm going to do a more basic and more "frilly" version. How about that?
Side note: I now really feel like I "need" embossing paste and that snowfall stencil... so beautiful in today's class. :)

Holiday Card Workshop 2013 - Day 1 continued...Creative Insides for Holiday Cards
Day 1 actually had a few different techniques, all focusing on interesting things to do with the inside of a card. Yesterday was one of the four, so I decided to try a couple of the others today...
Unique Fold
Honestly, I tried using a pretty HA background stamp on two other attempts, and it was too messy, and I was too impatient, so I decided to just stamp a bunch of snowflakes to create my own background. Much cleaner. Much easier. The snowman card used the Colorbox white - goopy. I actually liked the Fresh Ink a lot better (and it's hard to tell that it's gray on the green background)!
Materials:
Paper: Misc. Bazzill cardstock, Neenah - Solar White
Stamps/Inks: Colorbox - Frost White, Fresh Ink - Provincial Gray, Versamark, HA - Designer Snowflakes, Waltzingmouse Stamps - 2011 Holiday Ornaments , Just Rite Clear - Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments, Paper Smooches - Swanky Snowdudes and Joyful Greetings
Cutting/Embossing: Paper Smooches - Coordinating die for Swanky Snowdudes, Ranger Superfine Silver embossing powder, Judikins Opaque white embossing powder
Misc.: Dimensional adhesive, Lawn Fawn sequins, Copic markers
Positive and Negative
Materials:
Paper: Misc. Bazzill cardstock, Neenah - Solar White
Stamps/Inks: Versamark, Waltzingmouse Stamps - Alpine Christmas, Avery Elle - Holiday Fill in the Blank clear stsamps
Cutting/Embossing: PTI - Wonderful Words: Holiday Dies, Waltzingmouse coordinating dies, Judikins Opaque White Embossing Powder
Misc.: Dimensional adhesive

90 Minute Crash Dash and a LOT of Knitting
Here's a little card that I came up with for the Hero Arts Flickr Group's 90 Minute Challenge.
The Challenge:
1. Use snowflakes.
2. Use the colors blue and any neutrals - kraft, white, cream, gray/silver and of course black.
3. Make it in the shape of a tag.
4. Use a HA product - stamp, die, ink, whatever.
5. Tag your card - quickcard72
My Card:
Materials
Paper: Misc. Bazzill cardstock, DP
Stamps/Inks: TH Distress Inks - Faded Jeans, Shaded Lilac, Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass; HA - Shadow Ink - Tide Pool, Versamark, Fresh Ink - Provincial Gray, Hero Arts - Designer Snowflakes and Message Bursts
Cutting/Embossing: PTI - tag die, Spellbinder's Nestabilities - Standard Circles
Misc.: Dimensional adhesive, pearl embellishments, ribbon from Michael's, Perfect Pearl mist
Knitting for MY baby (photos are unblocked):
Pattern: Little Coffee Bean Cardigan
Yarn: Rowan RYC DK Silk Wool DK Brownstone and Lime Wash
Needles: 6/7
Size: 3 mos
Pattern: Magic Coffee Baby Hat
Yarn: Rowan RYC DK Silk Wool DK Brownstone and Lime Wash
Needles: 6
Size: Newborn
Pattern: Newborn Mittens

Pattern: Cozy Little Toes
Yarn: Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock lightweight (colorway - Lucky) - and I supplemented for the toes, which you can probably tell more obviously b/c of light box and white background. It's not really that dramatic in real life, and they're for me, so they're fine :).
