Happy Olympics!
For the next two weeks, I will be plugging away on my contribution for the Ravellenic games over on
Ravelry. I chose to tackle a baby sweater that is a little bit more involved than my usual - seaming, a new stitch pattern, a little bit bigger size.
Here is what it will hopefully look like (although in blue and white):
Pattern:
Little Jockey Wrap (Sublime Yarns)
Needles: Size 3 and Size 6
Yarn: Sublime Yarns Baby Cashmere Merino Silk
My goal is to have the back finished by today, and then do the front this week. We'll see if that happens.
And, some other cards I've been working on:
Materials:
Paper: Misc. Bazzill cardstock, watercolor paper,
Stamps/Inks: Versamark, various Distress Inks, MFT - Polka Dot Greetings Stamp Set and Die Duo, Memento - Paris Dusk and Lulu Lavendar
Cutting/Embossing: MFT - coordinating die, cuttlebug embossing folder, ranger superfine clear embossing powder
Misc.: Dimensional adhesive
Card #2
This card was one of the ideas shared in the Stretch Your Stamps Class. I made about eight and gave them away as a gift set.
Materials:
Stamps/Inks: PTI - Mega Mehndi Medallion Stamp Set, Memento - Tuxedo Black and Summer Sky, Hero Arts Shadow Midtones - Pool, Lawn Fawn - Quinn's ABCs, Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Tumbled Glass
Misc.: Masking tape, glossy accents
