Summer Card Camp 2: Week 2 Day 4

Today's challenge is tricky: use the weekly colors and make a non-holiday card with holiday products!

The perfect pearls are pretty subtle and hard to photograph. I used a snow background stamp and used part of a sentiment that said, "Celebrating the Greatest Gift of All."

Materials
Paper: Misc. Bazzill cardstock, Neenah - Solar White
Stamps/Inks: Versamark, Hero Arts -Snow Dots and Greatest Gift, Memento - Rich Cocoa and Teal Zeal, Paper Smooches - Word Up
Misc.:  Perfect Pearls - Turquoise, AMuse Studio - Ribbon

Hero Arts 90 Minute Scramble

Hero Arts 90 Minute Scramble time!

Your All-Star challenge will be a --- TRIPLE PLAY OF TRENDS ---

1. Create a project with a PHOTO FRAME (a “polaroid”) to capture the highlights.

If you have a photo frame stamp, die, or punch, please feel free to use it. If you don’t have one though, creating a frame is as simple as cutting a square with a punch, die or craft knife and then trimming a rectangle frame around the square window. Or simpler yet, is to mount a square onto a rectangle mat. Other ideas might include masking a square area or using a square stamp before trimming to include a frame. You could even draw a frame with a marker and a straight edge. Feel free to include more than one frame in your design.

2. SLANT at least one element on your project.

In other words, tip, spin, or rotate some or all of your design so that it “slides” across your project on an angle.

3. And finally, embellish your project with at least one METALLIC element.

Think gold or silver, like a championship trophy. Metallic elements might include embossing powder, ink, Perfect Pearls, glitter, sequins, brads, eyelets, ribbon, buttons, staples, paper clips, foil, etc. Feel free to include more than one metallic element on your project.

Here's mine...
