CAS-ual Fridays and a Lot of Knitting!

Here's this week's challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays... my favorite, a sketch!

Here's my take on it:

Materials:
Paper: Misc. Bazzill cardstock, kraft, watercolor paper
Stamps/Inks: Memory Box - Reverse Bird Branches, Hero Arts - Art of the Card - Untitled Love, Hero Arts Shadow Midtones - Pool, Tim Holtz Distress Markers
Misc.: Dimensional adhesive, jewel embellishments

And, although I've been quiet on the card front recently, I've been doing quite a bit of knitting.

Here are the socks on two circular needles that I recently finished for a class...

Pattern: Beginner's Mid-Weight Socks #242
Needles: size 3 (two circulars)
Yarn: Cascade Yarns Heritage - Sock
Size: Me

I have to say, once I figured out how the two needles thing worked, this was a much better way to do socks. Obviously, it won't work for every sock pattern, but I'm considering casting on for a second pair right away. It's refreshing to be done with both socks at the same time --- and they're the same size! And although this is a pretty plain pattern, it helps that this yarn is really, really nice.

And here are yet another puerperium and hat set (modified for short sleeves)...

Yarn: Sirdar Snuggly Bamboo
Needles: Size 6
