Weekend Projects

Here's what I've been up to all weekend.... ribbon baby blankets. I'm definitely not very good at sewing, but here's to a start. A learning experience.

 Front
Back (flannel)

Fabric - Cotton, Flannel, Minky - Cotton and Flannel are from Hancock's, Minky and one of the cotton prints is from JoAnn's

And, from my trip to the Twin Cities, I picked up a few of the new Tim Holtz Distress markers. LOVE THEM. Here are a few cards that I made using them.

The craft room is a mess, because we had to move things around to measure for windows. As a result, my lighting is now off in the light tent. Not sure if I should bother to fiddle with it, or just wait until the new windows are in.

Paper: Misc. Bazzill cardstock
Stamps/Inks: Tim Holtz Distress Inks and markers: Faded Jeans, Broken China, Tumbled Glass, PTI - Beautiful Butterflies, Hero Arts - Art of the Card - Untitled Love
Cutting/Embossing: PTI: Beautiful Butterflies - Dies
Misc: Dimensionals, ribbon from Stampin' Up, PTI - button, twine from The Twinery, pearl embellishments

And, a little knitting:

Ruffled Tulip Hat
Yarn: Plymouth Yarn Fantasy Naturale Solid
Size: Small (white) and Medium (blue)
Needles: Size 7 circ and dpn
