CAS-ual Fridays - CFC14

I've never played much with glitter (it always seems like such a mess), but I decided to give it a try for this week's challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays. However, I have to say, despite any feelings on glitter, I LOVE glue dots, so those were fun to use in a new way.

Here's the end result:

Materials:
Paper: Misc. Bazzill cardstock
Stamps/Inks: Memento - Tuxedo Black, Stampendous - D113 Chick St. Nick
Cutting/Embossing: Cuttlebug embossing folder (sanded), Spellbinder's Nestabilities - Standard and Scalloped Circles
Misc.: Copic markers, Xmas red Stickles, twine from The Twinery, misc. button from Michael's, Recollections extra fine glitter (Glitz).... AND, in the spirit of trying new things, and you may not be able to see this in the photo, but I used some recollections white flocking powder (snow) on the chickie's hat brim and pom pom with the zig glue pen

And, just for comparison, here's the first one I did, as a practice....
