Fun with Wreath Builders
Here are a couple more cards that Tabby and I made together using Gina K Designs' wreath builder stencil and the most recently released Holiday wreath builder. We used a variety of ink cubes (Gina K, Altenew, Hero Arts, Reverse Confetti) and Gina K's pure luxury white cardstock. It's so handy that Gina K even sells the paper pre-cut to fit the stencil. I especially like that if you goof (heaven forbid...), the paper is thick enough that it can be just flipped over, without any ink bleeding through, for a second try.

Auction Baskets
Just an impromptu post on a project I've been working on for church - made a couple of baskets with soaps, napkins, coffee gift cards (and holders - Honeybee stamps), dish towels, candles, and some handmade cards featuring Lawn Fawn and Gina K. Really enjoyed playing with Gina K's Wreath Builder at Junkiefest, so I ordered the Autumn set, and I was on my way...
Here are some photos of the baskets....
And the cards....
Thanks for peeking!

Inky Paws Color Challenge
The Inky Paws Challenge over at Newton's Nook is a color challenge... made even more challenging, because I didn't want to use the same set that I used in the most recent challenge, and I have more Newton's Nook holiday stamps than anything else! The colors for the challenge are: magenta, yellow, tangerine, and teal.
Here's what I came up with:

August Essentials Challenge
I just received some new goodies, and happened to catch Justine Hovey's alcohol ink blog post over at Ellen Hutson's blog, so I decided to play along with the August Essentials Challenge. The focus is on alcohol inks, which I love... and have been thinking about getting the alcohol ink lift pad, so the series of posts on the inks has been really fabulous. I highly recommend checking them out. The actual challenge is just to share a project using alcohol inks for the chance to win a $50 gift certificate to Ellen Hutson.
This is what I came up with - I actually created a bunch of alcohol ink backgrounds at a class I took at an expo at the MN State Fairgrounds earlier this summer. I usually try to make a ton of backgrounds all at once, and then I can pull them out for future projects, when needed! What made these unique (to me), was that I used a gelli plate and a vellum yupo paper. Super fun!
Love this stamp/die combo from Pinkfresh studios. I bought A Day in the City, too, and I can see using these sets to make a bunch of boxed card gift sets year-round.
Materials:
Paper: Neenah - solar white, misc. Bazzill cardstock, vellum yupo
Stamps/Inks: Gina K- amalgam ink, misc. ink cubes, Adirondack alcohol inks, Pinkfresh Studio - Home for the Holiday
Cutting/Embossing: Pinkfresh Studio - Cityscape die
Misc.: Gelli plate, copic markers

MFT Summer School: Focal Point
The last assignment for MFT Summer School! Final challenge.... Focal Point. The challenge in this was finding a good image to make the focus of the cardfront.
Close up of my first attempt of no-line coloring. The fadeout ink really made it pretty simple! I used a combination of zig clean color markers and arteza markers to color the bear.
Materials:
Paper: Memory Box notecard, gold foil paper, Strathmore Bristol paper
Stamps/Inks: Ink on 3 - Fadeout Ink, MFT - Polar Bear Pals
Cutting/Embossing: MFT - Merry Christmas Circle Frame
Misc.: Zig Clean Color and Arteza watercolor markers, Mister Huey's Opaque white mist, dimensional adhesive, copic multiliner

MFT Summer School: Visual Triangle
Four down, one to go.... this card was designed with the MFT Summer School Visual Triangle challenge in mind. The triangle is the moose, snowman, and sentiment.
I had some fun coloring the moose with copics and doing some ink smooshing with watercolors and sheer shimmer mist for a fun background... hopefully giving the impression that the moose is looking out at a snowy scene.
Materials
Paper: Misc. Bazzill cardstock, Neenah - Solar white, watercolor paper
Stamps/Inks: MFT - Merry Christmoose, Gina K - Amalgam Ink,
Cutting/Embossing: MFT - Snow Drifts, Stitched Dome Stax, Scenic Snow Globe
Misc: TE - Cookie monster watercolors, Sheer shimmer Mist, Dimensional Adhesive, white gel pen, copic markers, black copic multiliner
