DeNami - Mini Cards Blog Hop

DeNami's August Blog Hop is here! Hopefully you are enjoying all the beautiful cards the design team and other blog participants have created for your viewing pleasure!


If you are following the hop, you have just arrived from the fantastic blog of Kristy. I made a little bigger next door neighbor that is very similar, so that way you could really see that it truly is a "mini" card. It's the size of the largest petite scalloped circles of Spellbinder's Nestabilities series. The bigger card will fit in a size A2 envelope. If you're curious, I used Julee's great tutorial on how to make non-traditional sized cards, and I found it really helpful.

I'd really appreciate being directed towards any good bow-tying tutorials - I'm TERRIBLE at it... which is why I went with the button and knot, which even so, I think would have been cuter if I could have managed a real bow! (And this was even after three failed attempts after watching three youtube videos -- maybe my ribbon is just too slippery?)
